Happy Birthday, Lori Herbst!

Today is Lori Herbst's birthday. Do you know Lori? You really should. In addition to being one of the nicest humans ever, Lori is an incredible artist. If you've attended any punk festivals, horror-movie-comic-cons, or similar events you've likely seen Lori and/or her collection of art being displayed and sold.

Books Read In 2021

Not a ton of books this year; I’m blaming the pandemic. But here’s what I read over the last 12 months.

Lyric Video for "Goodnight Goodnight"

Flashback Friday, kinda. I made a lyric video for my song “Goodnight Goodnight”. It’s a track off my first solo album "No Visible Scars”...basically just me and an acoustic guitar. This song was a contender for an episode of the TV show "House" but didn't end up getting used...my choice not theirs. Too many shady people in the music business. ;)

Songs For Years Collective, Song #6 - Left Turns

Song #6 of 44. Another low-fi iPad demo hence the guitar being up way too loud in the mix. Enjoy!

Songs For Years Collective, Song #5 - Oh John

Here's song 5 of 44. I stole the title from a Jeremy Enigk song that was stuck in my head this week. And the not-at-all-vague David Bowie references just sort of happened while writing lyrics at 4am, so I left them in. Enjoy and #DavidBowieForever.

Songs For Years Collective, Song #4 - I'm Home

I've been really good lately at writing the first 50% of a song and then...stopping. Finally getting back on track with this Songs For Years Collective project. This one wrote itself last night in about an hour. Super low-fi demo on my old iPad. Enjoy.
